1. A Social Media Dashboard. Hootsuite and Everypost are great social media managers that allow you to put all your social media profiles in one central location. Both are similar yet different so check them out to see which one fits your preference.
2. Publish. This is a smartphone app that allows you to schedule posts directly to Instagram. This is important because other social media dashboards and managers don’t allow this. So to be able to schedule your posts to Instagram is important (especially since you want to be on Instagram because that is where all the tweens, teens and milenials are).
3. Snip.ly. I’ve talked about this before, but snip.ly is great because it allows you to network with others online, share their content while also driving traffic to your church website or blog. It’s free and well worth it.
As great as these tools are I also know they aren’t the only social media tools that are essential for churches and ministries to have an online presence. What are some social media tools you find essential? Share below or on social media using #ymsidekick. I would love to hear what you are using. Make sure you sign up for the Sidekick Scoop below to stay current on all other great Student and Family Ministry as well as Church Communication and Social Media content and trends. [mc4wp_form] ]]>
