video, listen to the podcast or read the bullet points below about the tech trends in 2021 to watch for. Staff Invites. These are simple 30-60 second videos where Staffers and their families invite friends to your Church for Easter. Then, they post it on their social media pages so it can attract their friends. Pick and choose the best ones and share them on your Church’s social media accounts. Personal/Family Invites. Once the Staff videos are circulating, encourage people who regularly attend your Church to make their own personal or family invite videos. This way you engage your congregation in something fun (encourage creativity) while also maximizing their reach to their friends. Family Announcements Videos. Have families who attend the Church share about your Church by doing announcement or promotional videos for events leading up to Easter or Easter itself. This way you can use the video and share them on Sunday morning, but more importantly, these families can then share them their social media pages and help the Church reach more of their friends. Snapchat Geo Filters. Sure, you can use them during Easter but also use it as an invite by having a Geo Filter available on the weekends leading up to Easter. People can send Snaps to their friends using a “Come with me” image to your Church. Learn how you can create them here. Ads. This is more than just Facebook Ads but it could be Google Ads or other digital Ads as well. Take some money from the Church budget (ideally marketing budget but if you don’t have a marketing budget, find some money somewhere) and spend some on digital marketing in the 2-3 weeks leading up to Easter. You don’t need to start in January, but it should a few weeks before. ACTION STEPS:
