We all have a voice. Sometimes we may lack the courage to speak up, but we should stand for what we believe is true and right. These boys did and we can too. What I try to encourage students and leaders is that we should not fear standing up for what we believe and using our voice. In particular, do not be afraid to stand up for what you believe about Jesus. In 1 Timothy 4:12 Paul says, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” Set an example, stand up for what you believe and use your voice.
