  • had huge replicas of a skittle box put up by stage and a popcorn replica in the lobby [caption id="attachment_1689" align="alignright" width="150"]extra mile This was just one of the props we used to go the extra mile in our At the Movies series[/caption]
  • made fresh popcorn served at the beginning and end of the service (the kids loved that)
  • had tickets made up for the church members to give to their friends who don’t go to new life as an outreach opportunity
  • had movie posters posted up around the lobby of the movies we were covering in the series
  • used clips from each movie as a visual in the message
  • These were steps that we took to go the extra mile with the “at the movies” series so it was not just another sermon series.  People went the extra mile and put a lot of time and effort into make this series special.
