At the time of the signing, Inter-Miami was ranked 15th out of 15 teams in the Eastern Conference of the MLS. However, things have quickly changed, after just a few games.

• The club’s Instagram account has grown from 1 million to 12.4 million. That is more than all NFL, MLB and NHL teams.
• Although ratings for his 1st two matches were not made known by Apple TV, which owns the rights to MLS soccer broadcasts, an average viewership of 1.75 million people tuned in on Televisa/Univision for his debut, making it the most-watched MLS telecast in Spanish in history (source).
• Jersey sales have been on fire. If you want a Messi Inter-Miami jersey you will have to wait at least 4 months to get one. Sales for all Inter-Miami jerseys, as a team, has soared 25 times normal!
• They are winning games! The team was in last place and now they have been winning since his arrival.

These are just some of the ways Messi has impacted Inter-Miami and the MLS. The bottom line is that bringing in the right person changed everything. Stadiums are sold out, fans are interested, the team is energized and there is a real energy behind soccer in America. Revitalization of a Ministry. All ministries go through ups and downs. Usually, a new ministry hire or key volunteer position will come in and try to revitalize a ministry. This is often the case in Youth and Children’s Ministry.
