video below, the podcast if you prefer audio, or the bullet points below to see what you should include on your ministry webpage. What your Ministry is about. Share your vision statement, mission statement and any other quick descriptors of what your ministry is about. You don’t need to go into heavy detail here but enough for new people to get a quick idea of what your ministry is about. Calendar and Events. Include your calendar and highlight the ones that are coming up – the next month to 2 months of events. Again you don’t need to go into major detail here especially if you have links set up for “event pages” of these events. But include what’s coming up and even upload a PDF of your most updated calendar so they can print one out if they want. Social, text and email opt-ins. Your webpage is a great way for parents and students to connect more. By including your social media links, text reminders and email opt-ins, you give them more opportutnies to stay in tune with what is happening. Link to email you. This isn’t a link to your mailing list. It’s to email you directly in case they have a quick question about what’s coming up or about the program. Share Resources. Make your webpage as useful for those who are coming to your page as possible. Depending on what ministry you serve in will depend on what resources you can share on your page. It could be policies, information or even new leader information. ACTION STEPS:
