- Pray for opportunities. Each time you get ready to get online or use social media, pray that God provides you opportunities to minster to people. Let God lead you to where He wants you to minister.
- Use Text Messages. Simply text someone an encouragement. You can send a Bible verse, ask for prayer requests, send a funny meme or anything to engage people and encourage them.
- Engage with People on Social Media. Scroll through your social media platforms and see what people are talking about an engage with them. Don’t make social media all about you, but see what others are talking about and post on their wall and if they are struggling with something. You can even use it as an opportunity to message them directly and ask for prayer or how you can help.
- Share about Christ on Your Social Media. Share a Bible verse or a word of encouragement during a stressful time. Then, at any point of the next day or so, when they are scrolling they may see your encouragement and it can help them. Who knows, maybe they will message you for more help.
- Share a Church Service. Not every Church streams their services, but there are plenty of Churches that do. If your Church does or if you like another Church that does, share that stream on your social media account.
- Share other areas you can use technology to minister to others below or on social media using the hashtag #digitalin5 to share.
