The easiest way to engage others on social media over the holidays or a special event is to find the hashtag that is trending and jump in on the conversations already happening. All you have to do is to look at “What’s trending” on Twitter to see the trending hashtags, scroll through what people are commenting on or sharing and simply engage with them. You can share promotional stuff or information about your Church if you want but simply engaging them in conversation about what they are talking about will go a longer way than sharing a blog post or info about your Church service at first. There may come a time in the conversations where you share that stuff, but the more you can simply chat with them the more effective that will be. So the next time a big event or holiday is happening make sure you get on social media, say a preyer for God to guide you, then look up the hashtag that is trending and engage in conversations.
