here. So how does a person dying and the millions she left behind apply to ministry at all? Here is how. Hugeutte left behind $500 million dollars to basically no one. Sure that is a lot of money but she basically left it to no one. She has chosen to cut herself off from the world for about 20 years investing her life into no one else. Now it is up to others to fight for her money – even though most hardly no one knew her. So my question is, who are you investing your life into? Don’t just think, “I’m in ministry, I invest my life into the students or children that I’m in charge of”. Think outside the box here. Who are the friends not associated with your ministry you are investing into? Who are the family members you are investing in? Who are your neighbors you are investing in? Who are the community service workers you are talking to and caring about? Christ calls us to “go and make disciples of all nations” letting our “light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Outside of your “ministry” position, who are you spending time with and pouring the Love of Christ into? TAKE A MINUTE and…
- think through who you are investing in outside of your “ministry”
- how you are investing in them
- what more you can do to share the Love of Christ with them
