We do a Back-2-School weekend retreat soon after the students start back in the routine of the school year. I find that we are able to begin the year with a new focus for them for realizing that their school is their mission field. Also, it is a great time to "break in" the new 7th graders, whose moms are nervous about them going off on their first trip. I really look forward to the individualized group time we get, where we make our own schedule and stay up late having an impromptu dance session together. Memories are made, and God's challenges are given. Good times.
